Dual Machine Setup Tutorial
Follow this guide to prepare the host machine, configure the secondary machine, apply your license, and run the performance test.
Make sure both machines are connected to the same router or switch. Use a dedicated setup environment and follow each step carefully. If your setup requires temporary firewall or BIOS changes, apply them carefully and restore your preferred security settings after installation where possible.
Install the Host Driver
- Prepare both the host machine and the secondary machine.
- Connect the PCIE8125 network card or onboard network adapter to the same router or switch used by the secondary machine.
- Enter the host machine BIOS and disable Secure Boot if required by your authorized driver environment.
- Extract the downloaded driver package on the host machine.
-
Right-click the
.infdriver file and select Install. - Wait around 5–10 seconds. The network connection should appear automatically after the driver is installed successfully.
Install Required Components
- Install Npcap on the secondary machine.
- Keep clicking Next until the installation is completed.
- Copy the two secondary-side files into the software folder or the DMATest folder.
- Make sure the secondary machine is connected to the same local network as the host machine.
Configure Leechcore.ini
Open the Leechcore.ini file and configure the host MAC address
if needed. If left empty, the system may attempt automatic discovery. If
automatic discovery fails, or if multiple host machines are present, enter
the host MAC address manually.
Keep Writable=OFF whenever memory-writing access is not
explicitly labled as safe to use, such as FACEIT. This keeps WYRMALITH operating in read-only mode
and reduces the risk of unintended changes to the host system.
Only use Writable=ON inside an isolated, authorized testing
environment where memory-writing functionality is specifically required.
[Server] ServerType=eth targetMac=HOST_MAC_ADDRESS AdapterMac=SECONDARY_MACHINE_MAC ServerNode=2 Writable=OFF [KAMI] License=YOUR_LICENSE_KEY
-
targetMacshould be the host machine MAC address. -
AdapterMacshould be the secondary machine adapter MAC address. -
Writable=OFFenables the recommended read-only operating mode. -
Writable=ONenables memory-writing functionality and should only be used for specifically authorized write testing.sss -
Licenseshould contain your license key.
Unless your authorized application or test procedure specifically requires
write access, leave Writable=OFF.
Launch the Software
- Copy the secondary-side files into the software root directory.
- Open the software.
- When prompted, enter your license key.
- After the license is accepted, the software is ready to use.
Run DMATest
- Copy and replace the required files inside the DMATest folder.
- After replacing the files, open DMATest.
- Run the speed test.
- Test results may depend on your network hardware, including the secondary machine network adapter, router, switch, and cable quality.
